Couple seeking a charming getaway
We really enjoyed the cozy vibe of our space, the bed was super comfortable it made it hard to get up in the mornings. Those gourmet breakfasts, man, they were a real highlight—we felt like kings with that spread every day.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but with what we got, I’d say good value.

The breakfast was phenomenal—best Hollandaise ever! Plus, the house was packed with antiques, and we loved cozying up in the comfy Lincoln Room while discussing local history with Ms. Camille.

the 'charming' accommodations were a bit cramped and CERTAINLY not spacious enough for someone of my, um, stature. also, the mattress on my bed was so soft that i woke up feeling like i was suffocating. and don’t even get me started on the fact that no one offered a free upgrade or complimentary bottle of wine. just couldn’t recommend it.

The breakfast choices impressed with homemade biscuits and selections like southern eggs benedict. The location allowed easy walking access to nearby dining and shopping.
The Puritan Room lacked a refrigerator, making it tough for long-term travelers to keep drinks cool. The bathroom proved cramped, typical for older homes, and personal items had limited space. Additionally, it's wise for guests to know that the house dog might bark unexpectedly, even after introductions.

A Perfect Stay with Amazing Breakfast
I recently enjoyed a delightful one-night stay in the Deluxe King Room, where the comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. The breakfast options were truly gourmet, featuring mouthwatering dishes like eggs en croute and made-to-order biscuits that were a highlight of my visit. The house is beautifully restored, and its charming decor adds to the overall experience. I will say, the bathroom was a bit tight but perfectly manageable for my short stay.

Had a great time with friends! Breakfast was incredible, and we loved exploring the nearby river walk and quirky shops. Camille was super welcoming, sharing fascinating stories about the house and town. The location is perfect for dining and strolling around. Definitely recommend checking out the local eateries and taking a walk along the river.
However, one of my friends had a rough experience trying to check in late, and the staff was unhelpful and rude, making it a stressful situation.
